So finally Spring is here! Not just the streets are filled with flowers but it is so nice outside we want to spend the entire day out and about, right? So that you can enjoy your days on the sun, we have gathered here some ideas for a nice picnic!

Besides the traditional red checkers towel, you’ll need some yummy snacks. Write them down:

 

  1. Flavoured Water

We all know we should keep hydrated, but not make it even more attractive? Check out this super easy recipe:

  • 1 cup of cut strawberries
  • 1/2 cup de cut cucumber
  • 2 cut lemons
  • 1/4 cup peppermint leaves
  • 2 litters of water
  • Ice

Mix all of the ingredients on a jar and leave on the fridge for at least 10 minutes before drinking it.

Go ahead and try different fruit combinations, they will all taste very good!

 

  1. Donuts

You can make your own donuts at home, fried or baked. We tried this recipe, it’s yummy!

  1. Fruit Sticks

A different and easy way to have your fruit portion of the day on the go. There is no secret on making them, check it out:

  • Chopped strawberries
  • Grapes
  • Round cut Bananas
  • Chopped Mangos
  • Barbecue sticks

Alternate the fruits on the stick, keep it refrigerated. Just like the flavoured water, you can mix and match the fruits you like.

  1. Sandwiches

A Sandwich is always a good idea, specially on a picnic. So easy to make, choose your favourite ingredients:

  • Bread: whole wheat, french, italian, ciabatta…
  • Sauce: mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, barbecue…
  • Greens: lettuce, spinach, kale, tomato, cucumber…
  • Cheese: mozzarella, cheddar, american, jack…
  • Protein: chicken, turkey, tuna, ham…

Warp it up on some kraft paper and tie it with a string. Looks cute and ready to eat!
